Administrative organization

The Ministère du Conseil exécutif is headed by the Secretary General and Clerk of the Conseil exécutif. In addition to his or her responsibility for Ministry operations, the Secretary General is the highest level public servant and all government deputy ministers therefore report to him or her. The Secretary General is assisted by several administrative units.

Note that further to the reorganization of government communications begun in 2006, the strategic communications specialists from all government ministries became Conseil exécutif personnel. The purpose of this was to ensure better management of Government of Québec communications.

The flowchart (in French) indicates the Communications directorates of all government ministries/departments and the executive personnel of the Conseil exécutif.
